Are You Classed As A Student When Doing An Apprenticeship

Apprentices, who are neither employees nor students, fall through the social safety net’s gaps. For example, they do not qualify for the National Minimum Wage since they are not workers, and they do not qualify for student loans, discounted travel, or student bank accounts because they are not students.
