The laws have changed, so can I apply for apprenticeship if I have a degree?
Yes. The number of graduates applying for your apprenticeship vacancies has increased significantly since the government changed the rules and letting graduates do an apprenticeship.
This includes all recent graduates as well as all who will graduate in this year. Graduates cannot have a similar degree to the apprenticeship they are applying to, so a graphic design student cannot apply for a graphic design apprenticeship but they can apply for a digital marketing apprenticeship. The apprenticeship qualification must have a significant new experience, according to the law.
Graduates are applying because they understand how tough it is to get into the industry and value gaining real world experience.
