Can you become an electrician without an apprenticeship?

Instead of wondering whether you can become an electrician without an apprenticeship, consider why you want to. Even if you could avoid an apprenticeship, you should not do so. An apprenticeship may benefit you in several ways. As an apprentice, you will get the necessary experience that will assist you later in your career. If you do not have an apprenticeship, you have no real-world experience to show potential employers.

If you feel that experience isn’t necessary since you want to work for yourself. Prospective clients will want to know how much experience you have before hiring you to work at their home or business.
