Can You Do An Apprenticeship and Work Part Time

A typical week includes four days of work and one day at university, school, or a training provider. So you could do an apprenticeship and work part time on the weekends.

However, not all bosses are the same. Your employer will ask you to study for one day each week (day release) or rotate weeks of work for a whole week of study (block release).

It can seem unimportant, but the difference may significantly impact your overall experience, mainly if your employer and place of research are far apart, which can necessitate juggling your accommodation and could affect you working part time.

Juggling a full-time job and studying for an actual qulification is not a straightforward feat. As a consequence, you will have fewer duvet days than the average student but its up to you if you think you can do an apprenticeship and work part time.
