Can You Do An Apprenticeship If You Fail Maths

In a nutshell, you certainly can! Even if you lack qualifications, there are many apprenticeship programmes accessible to you. So, if you’re thinking to yourself, “I failed my Maths,” don’t worry; a fantastic career may still be available to you.

Apprenticeships are categorised based on their difficulty level. “Intermediate apprenticeships” do not always need any qualifications. These apprenticeships are often known as entry-level or level 2 apprenticeships.

Intermediate apprenticeships often span one to two years. They provide both a work-based certification, such as an NVQ level 2 and a knowledge-based certificate, such as a BTEC. If completed, intermediate apprenticeships are equal to five GCSEs.

If you don’t have GCSEs in English and Maths, you’ll almost certainly have to take those courses as part of your apprenticeship.
