A-levels are a terrific way to get into university, but they aren’t the only ones.
Apprenticeships and vocational qualifications may also help you get into your selected programme, so you can go to uni with a level 3 apprenticeship.
Because entry to university needs at least a Level 3 certification, apprenticeships provides alternatives to university. You will be eligible to join university if you finish a Level 3 apprenticeship. You will be allowed to apply to university if you finish a college course, such as A-levels or a vocational diploma at Level 3.
You could even seek a degree-level apprenticeship, which would eliminate the need for university. So you have a degree-level apprenticeship without the expense of a degree.
What qualifications do I need to attend university?
- You must have Level 3 qualifications to be accepted to university.
- Apprenticeships, A-levels, and vocational qualifications all provide Level 3 qualifications, making them all viable options for university admission.
