Do I Get Child Benefit If Child On Apprenticeship

Families that enrol their children in apprenticeships lose child benefit under the existing system since they are working.

On the other hand, families of A-level students continue to get benefits if they qualify, even if the child works on their own time.

A kid over the age of 16 who is enrolled in an apprenticeship in England, Scotland, or Northern Ireland will not be eligible for Child Benefit.

In Wales, Child Benefit will be offered to children over the age of 16 who are engaged in a trainee or foundation apprenticeship.
