Do You Have to Pay to do an Apprenticeship

If you are between the ages of 16 and 24, you will not pay tuition; your employer and the state will bear the expenses.

If you are above the age of 25, you have to pay to do an apprenticeship, you would be asked to contribute to the cost of your education, so it’s worth talking about this at the interview stage if you know what you’re getting yourself into.

But don’t worry;  you might be qualified for an advanced learner loan, making things much more straightforward.

In some instances, regardless of the level of schooling, an apprenticeship will provide you with a debt-free route to a qualification.
