How Competitive Are Degree Apprenticeships

Degree Apprenticeships are the highest level of apprenticeship available. Completing a Degree Apprenticeship is equivalent to receiving a Bachelor’s degree from a university. Some Degree Apprenticeships lead to a Level 7 qualification, which is equal to a Master’s degree.

It is the best option if you want to combine on-the-job training, getting a university degree, and earning money! They are, nevertheless, difficult to get because of their exceptional quality.

Degree Apprenticeships are in great demand since they lead to the highest levels of qualifications. Furthermore, the number of degree apprenticeships available is lower than the number of other apprenticeship degrees.

According to UK government data, just 5.8 per cent of all apprenticeship starts in the 2018/19 academic year were at Level 6 or Level 7, amounting to 23,000 of the 395,000 apprenticeships started.

When we compare this to the number of students who started their first degree, which is a little more than 516,000, we may infer that competition for degree apprenticeships is intense!

Not only will you need to be a smart cookie, but degree apprenticeship firms will also look for certain behaviours and characteristics while assessing your application.

Because every organisation is different, it is essential to review their website and learn about their corporate principles before submitting an application or attending any interviews or testing centres.
