How Long is a Bakery Apprenticeship

Suppose you’ve decided that university isn’t the best course for you after graduation from school and are looking for another opportunity. How long is a bakery apprenticeship?

Baking Apprenticeships at this level provide you with extensive industry experience if you serve as a bakery assistant. Level 2 baking apprenticeships will last somewhere between 18 months and two years.

For becoming an advanced baker if you wish to practise baking and becoming a professional. You would be eligible to advance from bakery assistant roles to supervisory positions and, eventually, bakery manager jobs depending on the organisation’s size.

The advanced baker apprenticeship standards can take two years to achieve to be thoroughly qualified to learn your career.
