How Long Is A Level 4 Apprenticeship

A higher apprenticeship, also known as a level 4 or 5 apprenticeships, is more advanced (level 3) or intermediate (level 2) than an advanced (level 3) or intermediate (level 2) apprenticeship.

Higher apprentices work for a company and get on-the-job training while simultaneously pursuing a qualification.

If you complete a higher programme successfully, you will be awarded a level 4 (or higher) competence qualification as well as a knowledge-based qualification – a higher national diploma or foundation degree.

Higher apprenticeships are meant for students above the age of 18. If you have just finished your GCSEs, you should pursue an intermediate or advanced apprenticeship.

How long is a level 4 apprenticeship?

It will typically take 18 to 24 months to complete depending on the apprenticeship.
