Both methods have benefits and drawbacks. If you want to completely immerse yourself in the student experience and go thoroughly into your academic subject, university may be for you.
If you prefer hands-on learning, want to be paid for on-the-job training, and want to get a degree without paying tuition, an apprenticeship may be a good option for you.
If both choices appeal to you, you should weigh the advantages and disadvantages of universities and apprenticeships. Remember that you are not required to pick between the two; you may apply for both to leave your options open.
Just keep in mind that you will have to decide at some point.
