What Is An Intermediate Level Apprenticeship

Level 2 apprenticeships, often referred to as intermediate apprenticeships, are equal to five A*-C GCSEs (or 9 to 4 on the new scales).

On an intermediate level apprenticeship, you will work full-time for an employer while simultaneously attending college or a training institution to get a certification.

At this level, your apprenticeship will be designed to prepare you for employment to the best of your ability rather than to focus on quickly increasing your responsibility, but this does not mean you will not have any. You’ll get valuable employability skills as well as specialised training from the company for which you work.
